Appeal: Selling Photos To Support Earthquake Victims

My 86 at Mt. Haruna

As you may know, I don’t have a web shop to sell my photos; in fact, rarely do I even promote their availability. However, in the past week a region of the world very close to my heart has been affected by a number of devastating earthquakes.

In my day job, I am fortunate to work very closely with Japan and people traveling to this amazing country. These natural disasters have been a brutal reminder of how fragile life can be and how often we take things for granted.

At work, we support a charity in Japan called Second Harvest (https://2hj.org/english/). Their work is vital to the 20 million or so people living below the poverty line in Japan, and their resources are extremely stretched in times of disaster.

As a result, I have taken the decision to do some shameless promotion with my photos to raise money for Second Harvest. If you are a racer and would like to purchase copies of any photos from your events – or just a fan of a particular shot and would like to support a great charity, now is your chance.

The costs of images are as follows;

1x – Digital image: £5
3x – Digital images of the same car: £10
1x – Print (8” x 6”): £6

If you wish to pay more, there is no limitation on donations and 100% of proceeds from will go to the Second Harvest charity.

Gurston Down Hill Climb Photos:
If you are a Gurston Down racer, please email me with your race number and event date and I will send you proofs to pick from and details of how to pay. I have many photos from last year too, so please get in touch if you wish to purchase images from the 2015 season. The photos will not carry any watermark, but they will only be sold for personal use. This excludes sharing online and publication for promotional use without prior permission.

Other Photos:
If you wish to purchase any other photos (MotoX etc.), please send me details of the photo you wish to purchase and I will send you proofs to confirm. You will also receive details on how to pay.
